This short video sketch provides a humorous introduction to issues of online copyright as they affect classroom teachers. The sketch is intended to provide a talking point for a longer professional development session on copyright in schools.
This video is a co-production of EMS and the Halifax County-Bedford District School Board. In the program, Cole Harbour High School students introduce and perform sketches dramatizing race relations issues, sketches they themselves developed during a power play workshop in which they participated at school. The video is an in-service resource for teachers planning similar events; a guide accompanies it. The program is also a powerful means of provoking, in secondary-school students, a classroom discussion of racism at school and in the community.
